“Saturday The 14th”

“Saturday the 14th” is a collaborative work with Sophia Anderson and Blue Heron Tattoo in Frisco, Colorado. Sophia is an apprentice tattoo artist at Blue Heron. Together, we blended two very different art styles to birth this unique project: “Saturday The 14th.”

DEFINING SPACES

Intentional use of lighting, movement, and composition invites you to explore and discover a rich collection of ideas, emotions, and details hidden within.

Attention

To

Detail

An unspoken theme shines through as Sophia and I work in parallel. Although our art mediums differ greatly, attention to detail is critical in both her work and mine.

Reflection

As our projects near completion, the mind naturally wanders into a state of reflection and experiences that which is and was with newfound understanding and appreciation.

In an attempt to capture this intangible idea within a photograph, I used the visual representation of reflection offered by the glass and mirrors throughout the shop.
